EGEI 2010 – 2011
Enrolling into the MA EITEI (now known as Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree EGEI) was probably the best professional decision I have ever made. At that time, my home country Croatia was at the doorstep of joining the European Union. So observing its integration into knowledge-based economy was something that boosted my eagerness to apply. With clear objectives to work for the European Commission one day, I knew that taking part in the MA EITEI would be a great experience that would enrich me with skills and competences I would need to get me where I wanted to be. And here I am: Five years later, I am an official at the European Commission. I am putting into practice the theoretical foundations that I obtained by once being an MA EITEI student.
